Writing a dissertation is one of the most demanding stages of the university journey. Weeks, sometimes months of work, to produce a structured, rigorous, coherent document — and often within very tight deadlines. Many students find themselves stuck from the very beginning: where to start? How to organize ideas? How to maintain an academic level across fifty pages or more?

These are exactly the questions that Textiaa answers with its AI academic writing feature, designed specifically for dissertations, theses, reports and scientific articles.

A platform dedicated to academic writing

Textiaa does not offer a simple generic text generation tool. Its AI Academic Writing – Dissertation & Thesis feature is entirely designed to meet the requirements of the academic world. The stated goal is clear: structure and write your dissertations, theses, reports and articles with a professional academic style.

From the moment you land on the platform, you can see all your ongoing academic projects, with their status, type and progress. Everything is centralized, organized, and accessible at a glance. You can manage several projects in parallel — a considerable advantage for students juggling multiple assignments at the same time.

Step 1: Choose the document type and define the context

The first step of the process involves defining the framework of your work. Textiaa offers four document types: the Dissertation (end-of-studies project, applied or professional), the Thesis (long research work with high scientific requirements), the Report (internship, mission, or tutored project report), and the Article (scientific article or short academic paper).

This distinction is fundamental. The language level, expected structure and writing style are not the same for an undergraduate internship report and a doctoral thesis. Textiaa takes these nuances into account from the very start. You enter your level of study, your discipline, your name, the cover page date, and the citation style you need — APA by default, but adaptable to your institution's requirements. You can also specify the objective of your work so that the AI can fine-tune its approach even further.

Step 2: Define the subject and research question

This is often the most dreaded step. Finding a relevant topic, formulating a solid research question, identifying the right research questions — all of this requires perspective and reflection, especially when starting from scratch.

Textiaa considerably simplifies this moment. You simply describe your topic idea, even in draft form, and the platform suggests possible variations and research questions through its AI engine. You also choose the target length of your document — up to 80 pages — and the writing language. This "Suggest topics & research questions" feature is particularly valuable for students who have a general direction in mind but struggle to formalize it into a precise, academically acceptable research question.

Step 3: Generate a detailed academic outline

Once the topic and research question are defined, Textiaa automatically generates a detailed academic outline. This outline follows the expected university standards: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results & Analysis — and many other sections depending on the nature of the work.

What truly sets Textiaa apart here is the flexibility it offers. The generated outline is not fixed. You can freely add sections, remove them, rename them, and reorganize them. Each section can receive subsections to refine the structure. You remain in control of the architecture of your work — Textiaa provides a solid foundation that you shape according to your needs.

And if you have already started writing or if you have existing documents — lecture notes, articles, preliminary reports — you can import them directly into the platform. Textiaa will use them as inspiration to build an outline consistent with what you have already produced. Accepted formats include PDF, DOCX, DOC and TXT, up to 10 MB per document, with an unlimited number of documents.

Step 4: Write chapter by chapter

This is where Textiaa displays its full power. Once the outline is validated, you move on to writing chapter by chapter. The interface is designed so that you are never lost: on the left, the complete list of all your chapters and subsections. On the right, the writing space for the selected chapter.

You simply click "Write this chapter with AI" to instantly obtain a complete text, written in an academic tone, with integrated citations and a constant reminder of the central research question of your work. Each chapter is consistent with the others, and the guiding thread of your dissertation is maintained throughout the entire document — which is one of the most difficult challenges to meet when writing alone.

The generated text is not an imposed final version. Textiaa invites you to modify it, to add your own examples, to adjust the style to match your voice. A full text editor is integrated directly into the platform, with all the formatting options you need: bold, italic, headings, lists, alignment, font size. Auto-save is permanently active — no risk of losing your work.

Why Textiaa truly changes the game for students

What Textiaa offers is not an easy way out. It is genuine intellectual support. The platform does not replace your thinking — it supports it, structures it, and gives it a professional academic form. You remain the author of your work. Textiaa is the tool that allows you to carry it out in the best possible conditions.

For a Master's student writing their first major dissertation, the contribution is immense. For a doctoral student managing dozens of pages of complex research, the ability to structure, generate and refine chapter by chapter represents a considerable saving of time and energy. For an undergraduate student submitting an internship report, it is the guarantee of a professional, well-structured result, even without prior experience in academic writing.

Conclusion

Textiaa redefines what it means to write a dissertation in the age of artificial intelligence. Through a clear, guided four-step process — document selection, topic definition, outline generation, chapter-by-chapter writing — the platform accompanies the student from the very first word to the finalized document, with a level of academic rigor that few tools are capable of achieving.

If you have a dissertation to write, a thesis to structure, or a report to produce, Textiaa is the platform you need.
